  • What kind of tea do you offer?
    Our store specializes in Chinese loose leaf teas. We recommend you enjoy these teas using the Chinese Gongfu Tea method. For some black teas, the western method can be used to brew the tea as well.
  • Do you offer single serve tea?
    No, but you can order samples to try our tea. Most of our tea products are packed in 1.76oz (50g) resealable kraft paper pouches with aluminum foil liner. The package will keep the tea fresh with proper storage.
  • Are your teawares handmade?
    The porcelain and pottery teawares in our store are either handmade or semi-handmade. The drawing and glazing processes especially require hand-craftsmanship. The patterns on the teacups you receive will be slightly different from the ones pictured since no hand-painting can be copied exactly.
  • Do I need to follow the brewing instructions on your website?
    You don't have to. The brewing instructions are from our personal tasting experience, which serves to help you to enjoy the tea if you are new to it. We suggest you keep an eye on the water temperature since it is the most important thing to affect the taste of the tea. For experienced tea drinkers, you can adjust the amount and steeping time to suit your taste.
  • How do you pack your products?
    We are trying hard to be more eco-friendly. We may reuse clean bubble wraps, air bags, boxes and other shipping materials to lower our impact. We are searching for a more sustainable packaging solution for our products as well. Please reuse and recycle.
  • Do I need an account to place orders?
    No. You don't need to sign up to checkout through our online store.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards and PayPal for regular store products. Tea Sample Box and Monthly Selections orders/subscriptions can only be processed with PayPal currently. Offline payments can be requested for local orders.
  • Are my information and payment secured?
    YES! Your information and payment are secured by SSL technology and verified by McAfee SECURE.
  • Do you charge sales tax?
    We are based in Colorado, sales tax will only be charged for orders shipping to Colorado.
  • Where does my order ship from?
    Colorado, United States
  • Do you ship internationally?
    We can ship our products to Canada.
  • When will you ship my order?
    Orders usually will be shipped within 2 business days.
  • When will I receive my order?
    We use USPS for most of our packages. It may take 2 - 5 business days for your package to be delivered to US addresses. Shipping times cannot be estimated for international orders due to the time the package may spend in customs.
  • Can I return my order?
    Unused teawares can be returned in their original condition with the original package within 14 days after your package is delivered. For health safety, we do not accept returns of tea. Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost. Please pack the products properly to keep them safe during shipping.
  • How can I return?
    Please send us an email regarding any issue with your order. Once your return request is accepted, we will send you the instruction for return.
  • When will I receive my refund?
    Your refund will be issued once we received your returned products through your original payment. It will take several days to reflect in your bank account or PayPal.
